American Dental Cooperative, Inc.
The concept of the American Dental Cooperative originated in the mid-70's at a time when most independent dental distributors were losing market share to large national chains. In 1976, ADC became the first national distributor cooperative in the dental industry allowing members to maintain independence, while combining together to compete with national chains.
ADC offers its members exclusive distribution rights to the Quala brand product line. The Quala brand dental line, introduced in 1996, is one of the best combinations of price and quality in the dental industry. ADC facilitates communications between members and manufacturers; supports the further development of their individual member's local business; and drives volume to select vendors identified as preferred partners.
ADC members collectively represent over 11% of the North American dental retail market making it a major force in the dental marketplace. ADC is a proactive organization uniquely positioned under the NDC umbrella to enhance the competitive edge of its members in a rapidly changing industry.

United Dental Dealers, Inc.
The United Dental Dealers (UDD) Buying Group was founded by several independent dealers in 1995 and began operation with eight charter members. These dealers recognized the impact that dental industry mergers and acquisitions were having on their businesses. They felt that they, and many other independent dental dealers like them, could benefit from membership in a dealer buying group. The purpose of the buying group would be to help "level the playing field" between themselves and the large national distributors that were beginning to dominate the dental industry. Today, the UDD Buying Group's total membership has combined annual retail sales of over $100 million. In 2003, UDD was acquired by National Distribution & Contracting, Inc.
The dental dealers within UDD range from small to large, covering the United States. They encompass the entrepreneurial spirit as they search for new growth opportunities. These dental dealers provide value to their customers with outstanding sales support.
Mission Statement: The United Dental Dealers (UDD) Buying Group was established to improve member profitability by providing them with national account buying programs to reduce the cost of resale products and operating expenses, and also to provide related educational and promotional opportunities.
