Customer Service Representative (Distribution & Logistics Center - Tennessee)
 
NDC, Inc is a medical supplies distributor located in LaVergne Tennessee. We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure excellent customer service through professional telephone and email communication with our customers. Additionally, this position will work closely with operations, vendor relations, and accounting departments in resolving customer issues.

Requirements:
  • Two years of call center / customer service experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency using outlook and excel
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Must be self-motivated and able to develop and maintain good working relationships within and outside the company
  • Ability to deal patiently and in a friendly manner with external customer problems and remain courteous and positive
  • Medical / surgical product distribution experience is preferred

Service Desk Specialist


Job Description
We are seeking a level 1 Service Desk Specialist to provide a central point of contact for inquiries and requests from internal and external end users for assistance with the organizations computer hardware, software, phones, web sites and business applications. Primary responsibilities will include:
  • Collect sufficient information, document, track and monitor all requests for assistance to ensure a timely and complete resolution
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and advice to assist end users
  • Coordinate with other IT areas to resolve problems, when applicable 
  • Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform various functions of the job
  • Administrative tasks including, documenting solutions for future reference, assist in hardware and software inventory management, other administrative tasks as assigned
  • Coordinate the reservation of the conference rooms
  • Manage the inventory IT stock items such as, of toner supplies for laser printers and copy machines, wireless device accessories
  • First level support for all external and internal web site users, setting up users, resetting passwords, answering basic inquiries
  • Assist with special projects as needed
Job Requirements:
  • Two-year Degree in Business/Computer Sciences from an accredited institution required or equivalent customer service /computer experience
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Internet Explorer and Internet Search Engines
  • Track-It! Helpdesk Software a plus
