A former Assistant Attorney General for the state of Tennessee, Mark became president of NDC in 2005. He spent more than 20 years practicing healthcare law and served as a partner in a large regional law firm. Mark is a member of the Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) Board of Directors and has served on its Executive Committee since 2012. Mark received his Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University Law School in 1985.
J. Scott Craighead
With more than 20 years of professional experience in public and privately-owned entities, Scott joined NDC in August 2007. Prior to joining NDC, Scott was the Chief Financial Officer of Goldleaf Financial Solutions (a NASDAQ publicly traded company), where he served an instrumental role in Goldleaf’s secondary public offering that raised nearly $40 million in common equity. He received numerous leadership awards for his performance. Scott has extensive experience in all areas of finance, including IPOs, senior debt financing, mergers and acquisitions and internal control assessments. He’s also held senior audit manager positions at both Ernst & Young, LLP, and Arthur Andersen, LLP, where he worked with a wide variety of clients, including manufacturers, distributors, software development companies and banks. Scott is married and has four daughters. He is a CPA and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee.
Mark has over 17 years experience as a sales leader for Invacare Corporation, a worldwide leader in the manufacturing and distribution of home medical and long-term care equipment. As Vice President of Sales, he was responsible for strategic sales planning and execution, new business development, account management, lead generation, sales forecasting/reporting/compensation, and CRM. Mark and his wife Jill are the parents of two sons, Brandon, 21 and Bryan, 17.
Guy recently joined NDC with extensive experience. He has worked for the trilogy of Private Business, Inc., Goldleaf Financial Solutions and Jack Henry & Associates for many years supporting all aspects of their technology needs including IT operations and hosting, product development, corporate information systems, and software engineering. As Managing Director of two business units he was accountable for revenue and operating expenses. Guy is a father of three, and enjoys digital photography, fly fishing and playing tennis in his spare time. Guy holds a Bachelor’s Degree In Computer Engineering from the University of Florida.
Ian Fardy joined NDC in 2016 after over 12 years with the Health Industry Distributors Association where he served as executive vice president. He has more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and in trade show, convention, and special event management. Functions he has led include the HIDA Streamlining Healthcare Conference, HEF Executive Conference, World Economic Summit, National Hockey League and Major League Baseball All-Star Games, and more. Fardy’s background also includes a wealth of trade association conference and exposition experience. Fardy graduated from Senator O’Connor College School in Toronto. Originally from Canada, he and his family live in Maryland with plans of relocating to Nashville TN.
With over 22 years of operations experience, Dave joined NDC from OHL where he managed multiple automated pick, pack and ship Distribution Centers for several of OHL’s largest strategic accounts. Dave brings a proven track record of scaling organizations to achieve results safely with Lean principles that eliminate waste, improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality. Dave also served 6 years honorably as a Captain in the United States Army after completing his bachelor of Science with a major in Computer Science and minors in Math and Military History from Western Kentucky University.
With more than 20 years of experience in the medical industry, Steve has held key leadership roles in private brand portfolio development and management, global sourcing, supplier management, marketing and sales. His experience in working for both distributors and device manufacturers within the industry provides multiple perspectives and a deeper understanding of relationship dynamics between manufacturers and distributors. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University Center at Binghamton in New York. He also completed graduate courses in business and management at the University of Rochester.
Lori V. Paulson
With more than 30 years of experience in dental and specialty markets, Lori currently uses her expertise leading NDC Dental and the NDC physical rehab (MOtion1), veterinary and other specialty markets. Lori began her career with Midwest Handpiece Company in the business development and marketing departments. As director of marketing at Pelton & Crane, a Division of Siemens Corporation, she was responsible for all North American marketing activities of the comprehensive dental product line. Lori holds a business degree from Lewis University with a minor in Spanish, and a MBA from the University of Denver. She also recently completed a leadership program through the University of Cincinnati.
Dave joined NDC in 2002 and is currently responsible for our GPO strategy and relations, MedPlus Services, MedChain Supply, new distributor recruitment and corporate program development. He leverages his vast knowledge and negotiation experience to help organizations incorporate GPO contracts into their selling strategy. Previously at NDC, Dave has served as the managing director of ABCO and vice president of member services. Dave began his career in the healthcare industry with C.R. Bard – Urological Division, where he held sales management and national account positions. He was vice president of sales and marketing for Chester Labs and the Southeast manager of extended care for General Medical Corporation (now McKesson Medical-Surgical). Dave attended the University of Nebraska and Cardinal Stritch College, and has completed the Buckley School of Public Speaking. He also holds a number of sales and management professional certificates. In his spare time, you can find Dave riding his Harley Davidson, camping or standing over a grill with family and friends.
Originally from Western New York, Cheryl joined NDC in 2012 where she is responsible for our day-to-day human resource operations and strategy. She began her career in human resources at Buffalo Savings Bank (KeyCorp/NationsBanc) and later joined Softbank Services Group (ClientLogic) where she helped grow the company from a 1,000 employee start-up to a successful organization of 20,000 employees in nine countries. When ClientLogic moved its corporate headquarters to Middle Tennessee, Cheryl continued in her role as director of North American human resource operations. Cheryl has also served as vice president of human resources at Private Business, Inc. (now Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Inc.). After the company was sold, she spent a short stint in manufacturing with SFEG, a company owned by Berkshire Hathaway. Cheryl and her husband, Scott, are the proud parents of three grown children and grandparents of three beautiful granddaughters.
