NDC Appoints CIDA Managing Director

NASHVILLE, TN, August 16, 2005 — National Distribution & Contracting, Inc. (NDC) is pleased to announce that Paul R Barney has been promoted to Managing Director for the Central Independent Dealers Association (CIDA). CIDA has 73 Member distributors across the United States, Canada and the Virgin Islands. CIDA distributors have been active since establishment in 1979, serving the Primary, Acute and Extended Care markets.

Paul Barney began his industry tenure in 1986 unloading trucks and picking orders for the Import Division in ABCO's Warehouse in Milwaukee, WI. He held positions in customer service, contract management, and sales & marketing before relocating with the company in 1993 to Nashville, TN. Barney was instrumental in the transition from maintaining contract pricing in paper binders to an electronic format to the rich NDC online services used today. His most recent position, Vice President of Electronic Member Services, tasked Paul with online database management, web site development and the teaching & training of electronic services offered by NDC.

Paul Barney resides in Franklin, TN with his wife and three children.
