NDC Promotes Miller
NASHVILLE, TN, July 18, 2008 — National Distribution & Contracting, Inc. (NDC) announces the promotion of Chuck Miller to Vice President of Operations and Vendor Relations. Miller has been the Vice President of Operations for nine years. In this newly expanded role, he will continue to oversee the operations of the southeast and west coast distribution centers as well as oversee the evaluation, negotiation, and maintenance of the vendor partner relationships. Miller succeeds Burns Phillips who resigned on July 15, 2008 after two years of service.
Miller has been involved in all facets of distribution during his nearly 30 year tenure in healthcare. He began his career as a sales representative for General Medical and later served as Vice President of Operations for McKesson Corporation. During his years at McKesson, Miller held numerous positions including operations manager, sales manager, general manager, corporate manager of purchasing and inventory control, warehouse manager and regional operations manager.
"Chuck's strategic leadership, deep operational experience and global knowledge of the healthcare industry will provide influence in his expanded Vendor Relation role," says President & CEO, Mark Seitz. As a result of this shift, NDC is strengthening its supply chain leadership with the promotion of Alice Ann Nagel to Operations Manager and Joe Wilder to Manager of Transportation and Logistics. Adds Seitz, "It is gratifying when you find the opportunity to promote people within the organization."
Miller is a graduate of the Ohio State University.
