Checklist for Staying Healthy
Help prevent the spread of germs with everyday preventative actions, including hand hygiene and disinfection of high-touch environmental surfaces.
The time of year can make it a challenge to stay healthy. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, you can protect yourself and others by following these key action steps:
- Maintain a healthy lifestyle through rest, diet, exercise, and relaxation
- Wash hands frequently with soap and water. If soap and water are not available, use PDI Sani-Hands® wipes: the ideal hand hygiene solution and clinically proven to kill 99.99% of germs.
- Avoid touching your nose, mouth and eyes. Germs spread this way.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, or cough and sneeze into your elbow.
- Keep frequently-touched common surfaces clean. PDI’s complete line of EPA-registered Sani-Cloth® products addresses all your environmental hygiene needs from daily, facility-wide use to outbreak situations.
- Get vaccinated against seasonal flu, when vaccine is available in your area.
This cough, cold and flu season, everyone has a responsibility to help reduce the transmission of germs and disease. Talk to your customers about proper disinfection of high traffic and high touch surface areas, and ask about their hand hygiene best practices for staff, patients and visitors.
These and other great PDI products are available through your independent distributor.
